GrowFit is celebrating its tenth year developing healthy habits and life long skills, embedded early, so children have the foundations to live a happy and healthy life.Early childhood health professionals are who they are, and what they are passionate about.NOT your traditional sports program!They are play based, child lead and base each of their programs on current early childhood perspectives.GrowFit programs are NOT focused towards a sport, instead they are child development lead, focusing on Physical, Psychological, Social & Cognitive skills.Their goal is to be the best part of every child’s day!ands ensure everyone knows that, Being Fit is FUN!GrowFit HQ is Leichhardt, it’s not much, four brick walls and big door, to us it’s 100 square meters of potential, our original custodians are the Gadigal and Waggle people of the Eora Nation, 60 years ago it was a button factory. Now this is where we meet and train our team, we sort, clean and rotate and store our extensive array of equipment, film videos, record music and play heaps of games. We are very lucky to have such a perfect location in the Inner West of Sydney, it just so happens that it is right next door to our house, not only saving on wifi costs but it also means that we can live and grow our family business as our family does too. Our trainers visit early learning centres and schools across Sydney. After being a personal trainer for 7 years it highlighted to me the negativity views so many people on being healthy. Like it's a chore or a hassle, it’s not. You just have to find something that’s fun for you that fits in with the season of life that you are in. We are play based, we are child lead and we base each of our programs on current early childhood perspectives.We are a child development program, focusing on Physical, Psychological, Social & Cognitive skills, through the use of poems, songs, games and adventure stories. We offer 6 specialised programs, 5 for ELC’s and 1 for OOSH, these are all 10 weeks in length, scaffolding children's learning over the term. We also have Da Fit Club which offers families the opportunity to have us and all the tools they need to help their kids Grow Fit at home.
