Majnoon Oilfield Iraq

Responsible for field instrument team and control systems vendor (Emerson), Activities include; Completion of all Preventative Maintenance Routines (PMR) to meet Shell monthly Compliance; corrective work on breakdown of various plant systems; Servicing & calibration/loop checks of all Instrumentation during Planned Site Shutdowns; Assist Engineering in the completion of Construction & Commision projects.My duties include; hands on support; giving technical support & to ensure that the work is carried out according to project & Shell procedures & standards; Control & Safety system reviews & when necessary to approve changes to the system in a the absence of the Technical Authority;prepare daily schedule; review schedules & confirm material availability; Review Maintenance & Engineering work packs; review & update PMR's; provide feedback to M & I Lead.

Iraq - Shell Majnoon Oil Field

Leading a team of Instrument Specialist responsible for all instrument control & safety systems during Brownfield pre-commissioning, commissioning and Start-up for Shell Iraq Peteroleum Development in the Majnoon Oil Field. Responsible for Quality; Verification; executing tasks and identifying priorities for work activities including loop checks, C&E testing,functional testing and start-up to meet project deliverables utilising the GoCCMS completions system. Coordinate the work process in accordance with developed project plans and schedules for the redevelopment of the existing 1st Stage Degassing station; Final Degassing & Desalting Station with Oil Metering & Export pipeline. Liasing with onsite Project construction, Asset maintenance teams & Emerson system engineers to achieve these goals.

Agip Kco Karabatan Facility

Leading a team of Instrument Specialist responsible for all instrument control & safety systems during pre-commissioning, commissioning, Start-up and custody transfer for normal operation. Responsible for executing tasks and identifying priorities for working activities including loop checks, C&E testing, functional testing and start-up to meet project deliverables. Coordinate the work process in accordance with developed project plans and schedules for the North Offsite facities which include Crude Oil Export & Booster pumps, Crude oil metering, Crude Oil Storage, LPG supply & storage. Liasing with onsite engineers for the following vendors Invensys I/A & Triconex ICSS, Bentley Navada to achieve these goals.

Responsible for delivering robust commissioning procedures for all systems onshore & offshore for the first phase of the crude oil expansion project for the Southern Oil Company in Iraq. The facilities include Fiscal metering, Instrument Air, Power generation, Scrapper launch & receivers, Beach valve station, SBM loading facilities offshore. Laision with the third party pre-commissioning contractor, reviewing & approving their pre-commissioning procedures. Involved with producing an integrated commissioning plan/schedule, ensuring that all resourse were highlighted & available.

Responsible for delivering a robust Management of Change process for all changes to the Process Safety & Control systems on Shell's Pearl GTL project in Qatar. Liaising with various site teams for the correct approvals for each Plant Area/System. Ensuring that the Honeywell site team work with in the boundaries of this process to deliver changes that have been correctly engineered & implemented in a timely manner

Leading a team of Instrument Specialist responsible for Honeywell DCS, ICS SafetyControl systems during pre-commissioning, custody transfer, commissioning and Start-up and normal operation for TengizChevroil Sour Gas Injection and Sour Gas Production development. Responsible for executing tasks and identifying priorities for working activities including loop checks, C&E testing,functional testing and start-up to meet project deliverables. Coordinate the work process in accordance with developed project plans and schedules for the Wet Sour Gas Compressors & associated process, Claus Blowers & Claus Combustion & Reaction Chambers.

Leading the platform management team responsible for all Sigma3/Sort 4 activities on the installation including Safety, HR/ER issues. Providing a multidiscipline engineering service in support of production operations for Shell in the Northern Business Unit. Focused on delivering safe, cost effective maintenance and engineering solutions for the client and generating revenue and profit for Sigma3 & AMEC.
