Mike Smith Joins Avail Military Team -Atlas "Amplifier" MagazineIn support of our continuing efforts to provide quality management of Atlas' owned or managed Military operating authorities, it is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Mike Smith for our second Military Specialist position. Mike will focus on improving survey response rates and customer satisfaction ratings affecting the Best Value Scores for the Atlas' owned or managed authorities. Mike brings strong analytical skills to the position along with business management experience that will be beneficial as we continue to improve our presence in the Military market segment.Mike joined the Atlas team in April in Rating and Distribution Services. Prior to joining Atlas, Mike served in the US Army. His military experience includes eight years as a Signal Intelligence/ Electronic Warfare Analyst. His assignments included Senior Analyst at the Kunia, HI Regional Security Operations Center and 14 months in Baghdad, Iraq with the First Cavalry Division as a Squad Leader and Mission Manager at Forward Operating Base "Justice".Prior to joining the Army Mike earned a BA in Business Administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville.Mike is active in supporting Veterans' issues and enjoys running, mountain biking and whitewater kayaking.Please join us in welcoming Mike to our Military team.
