I was able to asses the shortfalls of this business and by implementing new policies and procedures the car wash better met our customers needs. Between 2007 and 2008 I was able to double the amount of cars washed annually. During my last year of owning Waterworks we saw 130,000 cars.

Pitstop car wash was built in 2005 and opened in 2006. Within the first year of operation we saw 100,000 cars. By implementing an original business plan and becoming a reputable business in a short time frame I was able to orchestrate a profitable sale.

Directly out of high school I began work as a tool and die maker. During this time I went to Grand Rapids Community College and received my tooling & manufacturing certificate which allowed me to earn the Journeyman title. My last 14 years in the tool and die industry was spent at Walker tool and die.
