Major duties include supervision of research team members, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, continuing analysis of radionuclide concentrations in effluent waters from ongoing field lysimeter experiments, and examining radionuclide sorption to graphene oxide.

Studied transport of radionuclides and iron oxide nanoparticles in the vadose zone through field lysimeter experiments. The projects involved experimental design and source preparation, physical sampling, and sample analysis. The goal of these experiments is to improve current geochemical models for vadose zone transport of these entities.
