Implemented policies and procedures for engineering and electronic assembly manufacturing line.

Responsible for CUI’s High end digital Point of Load DC-DC converters and standard product DC-DC converter product lines. Led engineering, applications and sales teams in the weekly Go to market meetings driving the closure of open items to reduce risks, achieve performance against schedule and address customer needs. Developed pricing strategies for distribution channel and performed customer RFQs. Negotiated supplier cost reductions, identified new product categories and launched new products.

Direct and coordinate SW and HW development activities in support of a new Intel product family by deploying new test SW and HW into our Asian manufacturing partner. As primary interface into the supplier, track manufacturing indicators, resolve issues, identify and drive quality improvement plans for test. Directly responsible for ensuring external team deliverables are identified, prioritized and negotiated as required. Drive operational improvements by raising productivity through improved test development processes and hardware validation execution.

Maxim acquired Volterra October 1, 2013. Working remotely, managed high power Protection IC and POL voltage regulator product lines. Responsible for feature selection, schedule and product cost by working closely with cross functional teams to ensure high quality products were available to customers on time. Directed and coordinated server marketing activities to promote all Volterra products for use in computer platforms. Traveled internationally every 6-8 weeks to meet with customers.

Ultra Mobile Group Directed the definition of the next generation mixed signal ICs and executed validation of mixed signal ICs intended for hand held devices. Created and defined new product development processes including validation improvement strategies and monitoring tools to measure issue closure rate, product performance gaps and other key criteria. Hired and trained staff ensuring employee development was a priority in this very fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Collaborated with suppliers, and cross functional teams to enhance relationships and resolve technical and schedule issues in a timely and cost effective manner.

Enterprise Products GroupDirected architecture roadmap, product development, path-finding, R&D, validation and supplier enabling strategy in US and Asia providing new technology voltage regulators and AC-DC power supplies in support of Intel Xeon server and Itanium processor launches. Expert in initiating advanced product development activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders then deploying same into marketplace.• Responsible for $8M budget and 44 staff members in 4 countries ensuring that appropriate equipment and resources were available to meet an expanding product lineup in a timely, cost effective manner. • Thirteen years direct engagement with silicon and power supply companies including supplier selection, establishing strategic road maps and implementing appropriate Program Management and R&D interactions to ensure product requirements were met or exceeded.• Built strong and vital organizations as demonstrated by the creation and growth of a world class R&D team by meeting with direct staff privately and as a group on a weekly basis to gain insight and provide direction. Coordinated all aspects of server system development supporting EPSD’s next generation multi-processor platforms.
