After retiring from Gentex, I began a part-time role with PeopleIT, focusing on recruiting and sales. My 26 years of IT experience in a high growth manufacturing company gives me a unique ability to connect with customers, and help match the right people to the customer's IT challenges. My experience managing global teams responsible for enterprise-wide PC support, global network services, architecture/design, licensing, and cloud services provides me with valuable insights to assist PeopleIT customers. I have likely lived through a lot of the same issues our customers experience when it comes to growth and change. I also have a great perspective on what customers want from an external service provider, since I sat on their side of the table for the majority of my career. In addition to my IT career, I serve as a part-time firefighter and medical first responder for Park Township in Ottawa County, MI. This role is personally rewarding and and helps sharpen my decision-making abilities while fostering a deeper understanding of the community around me. I excel in delivering cost-effective solutions that boost productivity and align IT teams with corporate goals. My leadership philosophy is based on excellent customer service, providing tools and support that empower every employee to leverage IT effectively and contribute to the organization's success. I am good at putting out fires both literally and figuratively!
