I am a software developer with a primary focus on web-based applications running on Unix/Linux servers. My experience ranges from largely static websites for mom-and-pop shops to high-volume proprietary eCommerce platforms to internal training and certification management systems.For those more interested in the technical tidbits, I develop primarily with the Laravel PHP framework. Other languages and platforms I have worked with include Ruby, Ruby on Rails, C/C++, C#, .NET 4.0 & 4.5, and a smattering of other languages.My focus is on building high quality applications that focus on a high level of maintainability. This is achieved through the use of tried-and-tested software patterns, automated testing suites, well-documented source code, and frequent releases of working features.
