Founder and president of Marine Ultrarunners Club of America (MURCA), a group of over 500 Marines who support one another’s ultramarathon addiction. As a small fraction of the few, the proud, MURCAns know the physical and mental suffering found inside the pain cave and draw from a deep well of fortitude to push beyond perceived limitations. MURCA exists for camaraderie, sharing lessons and stories, connecting like-minded Marines, networking, and supporting worthy organizations and causes. To date, MURCA has raised nearly $15,000 for charities who benefit veterans causes.
