About Michael (Mike) Pulliam
Dedicated leader with record of success in meeting production, cost, and timing goals in both production operations and facility construction through successful team collaboration. Offer broad knowledge of oil and gas production operations, ranging from horizontal unconventional plays to legacy vertical conventional production and downhole operations to midstream gathering / transportation / processing. Passionate about driving rapid / continuous improvement initiatives. Adept at leading diverse teams to facilitate changes throughout processes. Build strong relationships across the organization to effectively identify improvement opportunities, prioritize projects, and execute changes.A couple of my most fulfilling projects over my career:- Collaborated with asset team for Cimarex's Cana Woodford region to expand the companies produced water gathering and disposal system. In two years time we were able to get 90% of the companies produced water production on pipe and off the road. This required 30+ miles of new produced water gathering infrastructure as well as an additional 60K bbl/day of disposal capacity. This project saved the company money on transportation costs and also helped us to be a better neighbor to the community by greatly reducing the truck traffic in the area.- Designed and installed Cimarex's first comingled production facilities in the Cana Woodford region. Worked with IT to develop in-house production allocation formulas/system in order to maintain highly accurate individual well data while comingling fluids. Project greatly reduced cost and emissions on new facilities.

Contract Engineer
SM Energy - Provide production and Facility Engineering services for SM's STX assets. Working with STX team on production and development issues on growing production wedge.
Engineer
Production Engineer – Southern Oklahoma Region, May 2019 – Jun 2021 • Achieved 60% facility cost reduction versus previous horizontal Viola well by optimizing facility design and utilizing excess capacity of existing equipment.• Partnered with drilling and exploration department to drill “pump-friendly” wellbore to place new wells on Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) from day one. Designed ESP system to handle sand from initial flowback period through first four months of well’s life, until load water had sufficiently declined to convert to rod pump, eliminating the need for jet pump on initial flowback.• Increased runlife 50% on average for fleet of 200 rod-pumped wells by examining pump efficiency and strokes per minute, as well as using correct-sized pumps and speeds to minimize wear and maintain production.• Worked with production foreman to optimize pumper routes to move to pump by exception while transitioning through 50% staff reduction in field employees. Production / Facility Engineer – Cana Region, May 2015 – May 2019 • Developed and executed two multistage completions for produced water disposal wells. • Planned and built facilities for both disposal wells, with one built to process and inject 30K BWPD and the other to process 60K BWPD.• Installed 30+ miles of produced water-gathering lines connected to disposal facilities.• Reduced cost per well on production facilities ~30% by moving to comingled / allocated production facilities while maintaining high level of individual well measurement accuracy. Production Engineer – Gulf Coast / Southern, OK, Nov 2010 – May 2015 • Wrote procedures and assisted in executing coil tubing cleanouts, tubing installations, lift changes / repairs, recompletions, and plug and abandonments.• Designed and incorporated fully automated water flood system in southeast Texas, with the ESP on water source well to injection pump all fully automated based off pressures and tank levels.
Engineer
Production Engineer – ArkLaTex RegionManaged maintenance and optimization of legacy vertical production.• Assisted production foremen in optimizing plunger lift wells.• Re-completed and frac’d wells in Cotton Valley, Travis Peak, and Pettit formations.• Aided completions engineer with designing and implementing horizontal Haynesville completions.
