Successfully transitioned from development on a CICS mainframe platform to a Unix/Linux platform performing Configuration Management activities. • Implemented Project Management methodology to PSDI projects. The various projects accounted for over 30,000 hrs of work in 2011.• Facilitated and refined project scope, gathered and analyzed requirements, developed project plans, assigned resources, monitored progress for multiple cross-functional teams for implementations for Duke Energy, Cricket Wireless, AWCC, ViaSat, and UNE.• Provided effective project management leadership of assigned resources to meet deliverables on time and under budget.• As a part of the leadership team expanded the role of the Product Solutions Development Infrastructure team from product builds to include source code management, workflow control, packaging, test platform administration and system administration.• Initiated and facilitated regular leadership meetings, a geographically diverse team crossing international borders with both in-office and work-at home staff. • Provided estimates and mentored others. Created an estimate template to standardize estimates and provide more accurate estimates for quotes and reducing overruns on projects.• Facilitated the creation of a Branching strategy for AWCC project, enabling development to isolate the code needed to be delivered. This reduced the time required to stabilize an environment from 6 -10 days to 6 hours. • Collaborated with team management in India to share on call responsibility. This enabled the team to provide more consistent 24/7 support, while reducing the need for overtime.
