Supporting logistic companies, using my experience from working in the middle and last mile delivery arena. From streamlining and growing operations to ensuring they are legally compliant in their operations, I can help with a variety of issues. This ranges from long term contracts to day rates depending on the support needed.

Led a successful logistics business from the front. Responsibilities included a multi million ££ P&L, budget management and leading a team of over 500 which include independent contractors, supervisors, managers and senior managers across a multi-site network. Quality focused and data orientated using six sigma methodology and highly passionate about people.

 Worked with EU partners and legal advisors to build and implement an auditing process to support the compliance of our network of 3PL suppliers. Through regular auditing and communication, we improved contractual compliance from approx. 60% to 95% through nearly 200 3PL suppliers.

 Responsible for growth of 3PL suppliers in their region and ensuring availability of labour supply for both new and existing delivery sites.  Accountable for proactively managing the relationship across suppliers in my region, acting as the key point of contact for all matters. Developing new 3PL supplier relationships including providing growth plans and KPIs. Leading the account and rates review process both internally and externally. Account Management of operations and other internal Amazon resources to deliver feedback on behalf of the 3PL suppliers. i.e. become the conscience of the supplier Ensuring the retail supply and demand forecasts were accurately resourced to plan. Supporting the Senior Logistical Operations teams both for ‘run’ and ‘build’ departments.

 I was project lead on a new and exciting training process which was introduced throughout the UK to enhance our existing performance of 3PL suppliers and to reduce delivery associate attrition throughout the business. We managed to achieve a massive 18% reduction in attrition through engagement, feedback, and coaching.  Responsible for supporting change within the business within the training department. This involved understanding the change in direction or strategy and then building briefings, training courses and any other supporting information that was required. I supported all new starters to have the appropriate skills to carry out their role by liaising with multiple departments across the business.

 Leading investigations and preparing management reports on conclusions/resolutions.  Attended and undertook staff disciplinary procedures (elected representative of Prison Officers’ Association). Formulating risk assessments and managing risk on a daily basis through negotiation and forecasting behavioral strategies. Managing the shift patterns and welfare of 24 staff and 180 persons at liberty. Mentoring new staff as part of the support team within the establishment.

 Project management across all lithographic works, ensuring full efficienty of the print room, whilst adhering to financial budgets. Responsible for estimating and pricing work using different supply networks. Controlling stock materials thorugh maintaining a comprehensive database of items and costs.  CPA management of all projects through to delivery (OTIF).
