I have successfully managed complex stakeholder structures, driven significant cultural transformations and developed deep investment and business management expertise. I am attracted to developing innovative solutions to pensions, investment, and corporate challenges. As Chief Executive of LGPS Central Ltd, I more than doubled assets under management to c.£30bn, and the size of the team, launched 23 new funds/limited partnerships across both public and private markets, drove the development of Responsible Investment/Net Zero strategy and team, successfully integrated local authority and private sector cultures, and delivered the investment performance needed to support LGPS members' retirement incomes. LGPS Central Ltd was established in 2018 as an FCA regulated business to manage the pooled pension scheme assets of eight local authorities across the Midlands of England, with a combined scheme membership of over 1 million people and c.2000 participating employers.Serving as Chair of Trustees of the Institute of Cancer Research Pension Scheme and at Pi Partnership I deliver pensions governance to optimise scheme member retirement outcomes whilst acknowledging the need for long-term sustainability of scheme sponsors. I have additional non-executive business experience from serving on the Boards of Executive Grapevine International Ltd, Red Funnel Ferries Ltd and National Association of Pension Funds (PLSA).
