Serving as assistant principal for Nogales High School in a secondary setting. Aligning our vision and mission to provide a challenging, rigorous, broad-based curricular access and experience for all of our students.Areas of Responsibility Incude:Accountability: PBIS/Discipline Committee Oversight, PBIS Implementation (Tier I-III) Development.Testing: AP/IB , PSAT, ASVAB facilitation.School Safety: Schoolwide Safety Development and Compliance, Campus Supervision Staff, and SRO deployment.Facilities Management: Williams Compliance, Facilities including Custodial-Grounds- and facilitation of District Level Projects.Summer School Administration: Master Scheduling, Staffing, Mt. SAC Dual Enrollment, and Operations.Academic Department Management: Social Studies, Physical Education, World Languages, and Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate programs.Evaluation Oversight: Department Specific Certificated Staff, and Classified Staff.

Area of shared responsibilities include: Safety,Instructional Supervision,Certificated Evaluation, Discipline, Program Facilitation, and Classified Evaluation. Areas of administrative responsibilities include: Testing & Assessment,Counseling & Guidance,Attendance,SARB,SAT Team,Alternative Education Transfers, Counseling Center Supervision, and Technology.

Facilitator for public high school independent study programs. Assist students in the greater San Diego area with all aspects of student success enabling students to graduate and transition into advanced education, military service, or other career oriented programs.

Write and develop complete reports, remediation curriculum, grant support, and correspondence. Manage public relations efforts. Develop budgets, control expenses, and raise funds. Manage overall operations and individual projects. Investigate and resolve problems within operations and personnel. Develop and implement polices, procedures, practices, and action plans. Analyze data and operations to improve efficiency. Recruit, hire, and train personnel, and develop training materials. Conduct staff development training to improve operations using various learning styles. Plan, develop, and implement employee programs and activities to motivate personnel, enhance morale, and retain valuable employees. Develop a team management environment where staff suggestions are an integral part of the decision- making process, while creating an atmosphere of respected business partnerships. Serve as a liaison with upper management, while ensuring compliance to rules, regulations, and procedures.

Responsible for providing instruction in various core content subjects. Eventually moving over to participate and manage all operations of the physical education department. Served as an advisor and leader of physical education staff. Develop and maintain responsibility for budget, curriculum development, and faculty in-service training. Participated on the physical education leadership team.
