Global management accounting role overseeing the finance team including AR/AP, monthly financial reporting to tight deadlines, reconciliation of intercompany/intergroup, WIP preparation and financial project management. Implementation of systems/processes. Responsibility for administering all financial management systems. Working directly with the finance director.Managing currency cash flow, VAT, budgeting/project costing and analysing/comparison to budgets. Cost control. Assisting with staff recruitment. Dealing with outsourced payroll.Complex multi-currency margin reviews.

Managing all accounting functions, including AR/AP and cash management and government funding receivables.Overseeing management of all staff, including HR duties to include staff recruitment.

Management accounting to include data input to accounts preparation for external accountant. Auditing financial data. Cash flow, budgeting and venture capital. Advising and preparation of financial data for outsourcing abroad.Advising the board on finances.

Direct inputting of financial data to assist the development of monthly/quarterly financial statements, including prepayment/accruals and other adjustments. Overseeing the general accounting functions, including AR/AP and cash management, as well as matching supplier statements, issuing sales invoices and bank and cash reconciliations. Responsible for administering all financial management systems, this included evaluating and integrating new applications and raising capital finance. Advising the senior management team on financial forecasting. Setting up of accounting functions on sage line 50 which has leads to greater efficiency in all areas of accounts. Implementation of a scanned stock control system that enables more accurate stock figures as well as better monitoring.

Preparing financial reports, developing budgets and variance analysis, in accordance with a business plan. Maintaining sales, purchase and nominal ledgers, the preparation of journals, trial balance and management accounts. Preparing statutory accounts, reviewing the work of team members, credit control and regular client liaison.
