Working with a team of 4 members on developing an autonomous taxi to serve in Ain Shams campus using a four seated golf car (Matgr DB4)• Working on the system level, focusing on system architecture and integration.• Worked on generating a 3D pointcloud map of the campus and map-based localization using 3D MCL and NDT based methods.• Working on the localization stack on sensor fusion between Lidar, wheel encoders, IMU,for localization and real-time module sanity monitoring.• Working on vehicle motion planning for smooth maneuvering based on parametric curves approach with dynamic constraints along with assessing different optimization algorithms as GA, PSO and SA.• Development and implementation of an adaptive pure pursuit controller for path following.• Integrating the autonomous stack with the drive-by-wire system controllers.

• EV powertrain architecting, modeling, performance analysis and assembly.• Took part in developing and testing the latest generation of LFP battery packs.• Utilized model-based design methodology for controlling a battery pack testing module.

Worked on the localization and mapping stack for a fully autonomous Formula race car, assessing fast SLAM 2.0 and various SLAM algorithms and working on the development of LOAM and loop closure algorithms and fusion with other odometry sources as ZED camera and IMU sensors. Testing the system on a test vehicle.

Responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of 15 members for preparing the design reports, specs sheet and documenting and integrating the full vehicle design parameters.Preparing the design event presentations and presenting the VHD team in the event.

Developed and designed vehicle dynamics (suspension, brakes and steering systems) models and simulations for a Formula students ICE race car and worked on the full vehicle lap time simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
