With more than 20 years of higher education management experience, Mindy currently leads the College Credit in High School outreach in Linn County for Kirkwood Community College. In addition to working with college credit offerings located within the walls of area high schools in the greater Marion/Cedar Rapids Metro area, she also oversees Kirkwood's Linn County Regional Center, a 100k square foot facility located in Hiawatha designed to serve the career and college exploration needs of all students in Linn County. As the co-creator of Kirkwood Women Connect, Mindy empowered employees at Kirkwood by launching a formalized employee-led resource group during a global pandemic to help employees strive towards the greater good through meaningful interaction, engagement, and connection throughout the organization. Mindy is a Gallup Certified Strengths coach focused on growing the strengths of Kirkwood staff, faculty and students. Mindy has her Masters in Organizational Leadership with a graduate certificate in Organizational Management from St. Ambrose University. She received her baccalaureate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Communication Studies.
