I believe accounting can become significantly more modern, especially for smaller companies.In many startups, accounting input and output are imbalanced. Accounting is often viewed as a peripheral process, leading to underdeveloped data despite the importance of key metrics like Cash Flow and Profit Margin for securing funding and ensuring survival.The challenge lies in limited resources. Implementing a robust ERP system can be costly, and many accountants are unaware of how data warehouses and BI systems can enhance every stage of the accounting process. These tools reduce human errors and make data more accessible, especially as companies grow.Modern AI tools and database platforms now offer affordable, ERP-like solutions to smaller businesses, which was once unattainable. However, both technology and mindset need to evolve in accounting in order to adapting to changes.My goal is to explore and share cost-effective practices that make accounting more modern and efficient. While accounting is a traditional field, it should continuously evolve alongside advancing technologies.
