Senior Information Operations Planner At Socpac
Current- Responsible for staffing and maintaining the Information Operations activities to provide non-lethal planning support to SOCPAC and USINDOPACOM’s campaign plans. - Develop, synchronize, integrate IO and asymmetric operations to shape the information environment in order to achieve COMSOCPAC objectives and support SOF operations, governmental organizations and partner nation forces missions. - Assist SOCPAC Cross Functional Team in developing SOF IO options in steady-state in support of Great Power Competition (GPC) execution activities. - Develop IO estimates, assess the information environment, and conduct non-lethal targeting of Persons of Interest (POIs) in the physical, informational, and cognitive domains to achieve desired IO effects and objectives against Counter Terrorism Target Audiences (TA). - Responsible for providing reach back support to Information Joint Task Force in order to synchronize MILDEC, STO, CYBER, JEMSO, OPSEC, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Civil Affairs (CA), and Public Affairs (PA) into SOF Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAIs). - Provide inputs to Key Leader Engagements (KLE) and conduct post analysis and measures of effectiveness of KLE activities in support of Campaign Plans and Commanding General Storyboards. - Represent SOCPAC Effects Cell and J39 to the standing Competition OPT, Communication Strategic Working Group (CSWG), INDOPACOM IO Working Group (IOWG), and SOCPAC Joint Planning Group (JPG) to develop IO Campaign Plans. - Assist drafting inputs to IO annexes and related appendices for CONOPs, OPLANs, and CONPLANs.
