My research focused on reinforcement learning and anxiety and mood disorders: how people learn from feedback, and how we can use reinforcement learning to build adaptive digital interventions.- Clinical: My clinical training spanned a variety of settings and patient populations, including providing collaborative care and assessments for patients in the departments of family medicine and neurology, long-term care for inpatients with serious mental illness at a state psychiatric hospital, forensic assessments to justice-involved individuals, and individual evidence-based therapy. - Interdisciplinary leadership: I was part of the interdisciplinary Jefferson Scholars Foundation, which involved interdisciplinary collaborations, training, research presentations, and leadership.
