Provided sales engineering support for VSAT networks.Was the engineering manager for Viasat's shared VSAT hub business. Managed network design, installation and continuing service. Provide service design and development for VSAT customers. 2004 to 2009Designed systems and managed the vendors providing M&C systems for Viasat's Ka-band gateway stations. This included requirements development, specification generation, managing software development, software distibution and maintenance, customer support.I developed a team of software and network engineers engineers that provide remote support and integration for our gateways (35 sites). As part of this team I directed their work so that they have taken over most of the work our software vendor was doing in the begining. I provide product management for the M&C product and it plays a major role in our gateways.

As the system engineer I provided technical sales support. I design systems for customers and wrote the proposals for the sales staff. Network design included traffic modeling of store and forward traffic for various applications. I developed traffic modeling software to size the computer storage, satellite capacity requirements and delivery times for files through the system.

I did system engineering and sales support for the satellite network engineering business.This business developed voice, data and video satellite networks around the world

As the engineering manager at Sprint I managed the network design and implementation supporting Spint's video conference business.This included designing and managing the installation of customer video conference equipment, network operation and sales support.
