I work for the United States Department of Agriculture Headquarters in Washington DC. As a management analyst, my position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). Development and evaluation of programs in finance, accounting, Federal financial assistance, productivity and management. The Fiscal Policy Division is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to program associated with the implementation and coordination of travel management, audit management, cash and debt management; Departmental responses on issues related to government-wide fiscal policy initiatives, including debt and travel management programs. Departmental responses to government-wide management improvement initiatives directed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Department of the Treasury, and the Government Accountability Office (GAO); and the development of policies standards. Prepares reports and study findings that include recommendations to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the government debt management and travel program and programs. Monitors, coordinates, and the implementation of Department and Government-wide changes within the USDA Debt Management program.
