Responsibilities:• Prepared bank cheques for a number of financial institutions including CBA & Bankwest for settlements nationally as agents.• Acting on behalf of financial institutions and law firms in property settlement transactions, including purchases, sales and refinances, requiring the review of settlement documents to ensure they are registrable at the LPI. Skills Acquired:• Strong organisation and time management skills through meeting strict time sensitive SLAs for the preparation of settlement cheques and to settle matters. On average I would attend on behalf of clients 30 settlement transactions and on busier days in excess of 50 settlements. • Confidence with conveyancing documents including title searches, discharges of mortgage, transfer documents, transfers under power of sale and powers of attorney.
