First placement in the Graduate Scheme working within the Business Continuity Management team. Working with teams across the organisation to insure that Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and Service Continuity plans were contained within Riskonnect and kept up to date along with assisting in exercising departments with continuity exercises to demonstrate their readiness in the event of a major incident.

Spent two summers working at a summer camp in Wisconsin. Facilitating sessions for classes of up to 20 children on the high ropes / adventure courses. Additional duties included rotational supervision of your assigned cabin overnight and general counselling for any issues that arose in camp. Main focus was always safety and inclusion of all campers.

Answering calls from customers, assisting with a wide range of issues relating to their household energy supply including switching, billing and any other issues. If not resolved first time, it would be escalated accordingly. Being honest and transparent with customers about timescales to get it resolved and a customer first attitude was key to great service.
