I am a seasoned backend software engineer with a passion for building performant and efficient backend services and a track record of collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions to complex technical problems.Throughout my career, I have built user-facing features (for example, "Share Project" at Microsoft) that improve the customer experience. I have designed & implemented data pipelines that satisfy business-critical requirements (for example, the "Data Report Service" at SunPower that served as the foundational data backbone of the Virtual Power Plant project). I have built scalable and performant backend RESTful API services and learned about tools and techniques (telemetry, killswitches) to effectively maintain them. I have championed clean code, and helped build a team-wide culture of writing performant, efficient, readable, and well-tested code. Lastly, I've mentored junior team members and helped guide them on team-wide best practices so that they can quickly contribute to the project at hand.I have worked with many different programming languages (Python, C#, Java, javascript) across a myriad of tech stacks. I have experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure), working with a variety of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and insights into backend system operations (for example, deployment strategies using github or Jenkins). I am used to working in an Agile workflow and have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
