Assisted with advancing cutting-edge energy and electric vehicle-related research as part of the MITRE Emerging Technologies program during the summers of 2021, 2022, and 2023, as a Student Researcher. Also conducted remote research during the winters of 2022 and 2023. Researched, analyzed, and evaluated the physics of confined dielectrics and modeled and optimized supercapacitors with applications for electric vehicles and more. Evaluated the characteristics of water and other dielectrics when under nanoconfinement. Modified an existing, MITRE-developed model optimization procedure for supercapacitors to reflect the underlying physics of granular carbon material, while working under the tutelage of my mentor, Dr. James Ellenbogen. Examined the impact of electrolyte behavior in supercapacitors and applied it to the existing model.

As a teacher's assistant, I would help kids learn Hebrew, teach them about various aspects of Judaism, and helped write Temple Emanu-El's newsletter.
