I currently work as a Vendor Statement Analyst. This job entails receiving financial statements and reconciling the credit balances showing on those statements. This includes research, contacting vendors, collecting financial documents, and ultimately entering a claim.

I currently work at BSI Healthcare Services in the Tax Department. The main objective is to review hospital's records and find cases where they overpaid on taxes. This requires a lot of product research. There is also a healthy amount of reviewing financial statements and contacting vendors regarding those statements. Once refund potential has been identified and confirmed I enter a claim through the California Board of Equalization. The claim includes documentation supporting our findings.

I worked for three summers at a Christian overnight camp as a counselor, but my duties were much more than simply playing with kids. I helped to design the camp program, which included creating and scheduling activities. I also was a lifeguard, worked with camp upkeep, such as building docks or painting cabins, and helped in the kitchen. This job kept me on my toes, as you never know what your kids are going to do next. You must be ready for anything. I learned to multitask and gained a new appreciation of good management, both with the children and with my fellow counselors.

Contacting vendors to inquire about credits believed to be open. I also worked with updating the system (BSAP) with new information regarding the accounts I worked. I also researched vendors to obtain up to date contact information. Tasks changed daily.
