• Development, optimisation, validation and application of analytical methods for chemical species (pesticides, pharmaceutical, organic environmental contaminants) in support of pre- and post-registration monitoring purposes. Ensuring compliance with SANTE/2020/12830, SANCO/3030, CAC/GL 40-1993 (among others) and in support of ecotoxicology studies.• Experience and expertise in LC/MS-MS, GC/MS, LC-TOF, HPLC and GC techniques.• An in-depth knowledge of the use, behaviour, effects and fate of veterinary medicines and pesticides. • Design, management and delivery of GLP compliant studies dealing with the fate and behaviour of chemical contaminants, including drafting proposals, planning, study directing (single and multi-site), work scheduling, client liaison, science delivery and reporting.• Research studies in the UK and Europe, primarily concerned with the magnitude and fate of pesticide and veterinary medical residues in plants, environmental matrices and animals, including the interpretation of data.• Author and reviewer of publications and technical reports.• Expertise in the production, characterisation, verification and uses of incurred tissues in research, development and quality assurance.• Expertise in managing, facilitating and carrying out animal science.
