Assisted Governor’s office in Exchange 2003 Migration questions based on Assistant Director’s recommendation. Design and implementation of Exchange 2007 to better support Agency’s email requirements and Disaster Recovery. Performed Design and Implementation strategy for Agency’s move to Exchange 2007 platform leveraging the high performance infrastructure of the Storage Area Network systems. Assisted other various State of Arizona agencies with Exchange 2007 migration issues and questions. Maintain service, support and tracking of Agency’s Secure Email system and Secure FTP server/sites (FIPS 140-2) used for file transfers with other external entities relating to areas from programming to billing and medical information. Administration of Agency’s Secure Email system to provide a low-cost method of transmitting confidential information electronically and securely. Successfully introduced Exchange 2010 Hybrid server, Active Directory Federation Services and Directory Synchronization into environment to facilitate smooth migration from on-premises to Office 365 Cloud infrastructure. Lead technical person responsible for network management including Windows 2000 Active Directory for three domains, Exchange email systems, Cisco VPN solutions, FTP services, Telecommuting program, anti-virus management, secure website management, and converged IP Telephony system to email. Network management included NT Domain connection, service, backups, maintenance and deployment. Other networks involved were MS Exchange 5.5 servers throughout the WAN environment, Cisco VPN solutions, various FTP servers, Terminal Services, video conferencing setup, anti-virus maintenance, internet monitoring and file restores.

Developed server implementation strategies for a new start-up software/service company. Assisted in the development of the corporate business process model, which was later used in the corporation that absorbed the company. Developed a customer service plan and strategy for a newly formed customer service department. Worked with server builds both internal and for customer use. Administered the company KwikTag TM system and worked closely with developers in the finalization, implementation and administration/support of those systems on customer sites. Administrated the company voicemail and phone systems, which included the programming of a call center application. Was the prime contact for technical services, which included serious problems and performance monitoring/tweaking in SQL databases as well as any new custom services to be integrated. Developed numerous sets of documentation for both the KwikTag TM software as well as installation/administration plans for servers, which were published in both hard copy manuals and soft copy help files. Performed training classes for new customers as well as developed numerous CD ROM interactive training modules to be dispersed to both existing customers and potential customers.

Administered the remaining cc:Mail system and worked on key pieces of integration and migration from that mail system to Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 for 50,000 seats. Performed daily administrative functions with the Exchange Server, including account creation, distribution lists, permissions, connector monitoring and integration of remote sites and the parent company. Worked heavily within a “Swat Team” project developed solely for the purpose of ending a problem that had developed within the SendMail environment. Received award for duties performed in the final functions of the cc:Mail to Exchange migration of Phase I. Developed custom forms for use with the MS Outlook ’98 client utilizing calendar scheduling features for use with the Corp. airplane and Flight Scheduling Team. Worked closely with remote offices throughout North America to integrate them into the Corp. network via X400 Connectors, NT trusts and Bridgehead servers –then troubleshooting performance complications. Lotus Notes 4.6 administration and RAS/Extranet access administration.
