A coder in an accountant's body, when I'm not designing, deliver and sustain strategic business initiatives, or leading workshops to drive company and financial performance, you can find me on a surf board, mentoring Chartered Accountant candidates, or spending some quality time with my family.I am naturally curious, addicted to learning and new experiences, and have a reputation for leading with integrity and mutual respect. My bias for technology and automation has helped me maximise efficiencies in many back-office processes, and drive continual digital marketing improvements in highly competitive industries. I don't build silos, never shy away from a tough conversation, and would rather build a macro to do a task than increase headcount. I believe the biggest challenge facing industry today is how to cultivate a "hacker mentality" towards business opportunities, while maintaining a strong compliance and controls culture. Strong leadership is about being consistent in finding the balance between this and other challenges on a daily basis, and its a task I enjoy rising to every day.
