I joined Accenture as a software engineer, later promoted to engineering manager, then program manager, and finally transferred to technology architecture. While at BusinessEdge I worked primarily at UBS, on several projects in loan origination including BPDocs (a documentation tracking and management system), GSF (a loan syndication system) and CDS (workflow for hedging loans).

At EEI, a boutique Wall Street-based consulting company, I worked primarily for Merrill Lynch, developing a derivatives trade confirmation authoring and tracking system, and designing and implementing a system for automatic signing of trade confirmations.I also worked on EEI's EnterpriseFTX suite of OFX-based personal financial management products, and ported several applications from Documentum 4.3 to 5.2.

I was the head of technology and lead developer for a small, 5-person startup company specializing in online workflow applications and reference data management.In this role I was responsible for supervising the team that designed and implemented the platform, design and implementation of sample applications for the platform, and evaluation of third-party technology offerings for interface and/or inclusion with the platform.

Online Retail Partners was a start-up based on the idea of partnering with traditional offline retailers (those existed back then!) to enable them to enter the world of e-commerce.I development and supported Java based online retailing WWW sites including accounts for ULTA Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. (where I was the team lead), Zany Brainy, Inc., and Dick's Sporting Goods.I also designed and implemented a search engine for Ulta and Zany Brainy, and developed of an automated build and install process for Zany Brainy’s Java and JSP code base.

I was a software engineer in the mainframe lab in Poughkeepsie, where I worked on Workload Manager (a component of the OS/390 scheduler), Component Broker (an early mainframe CORBA implementation), and the Lotus Domino porting project for OS/390.

Developed and supported multiple web-based applications for the fixed income telecom support group.
