Executive sponsor for the LEAPForward Initiative, an 18-month, $22 million effort to modernize the campus enterprise architecture. Systems implemented include Oracle Campus Solutions, Oracle Interaction Hub, Oracle Identity Management Suite, StarRez Student Housing Software, Cherwell Information Technology Service Management Software, IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, and TouchNet Payment Gateway. Managed day to day administrative and technical activities for a company that provided data services to those interested in family history research. Daily responsibilities included negotiating data rights with archives and private records repositories; managing microfilm digitization and indexing efforts (both domestic and international); implementing in-house network and hardware infrastructure; managing data center and business continuity activities; establishing and enforcing code, digitization, and metadata standards; and leading product marketing activities (both online and CD-ROM products).
