- Successfully managed the ongoing Election Day Voter Protection program for two major election cycles to protect the voting rights of immigrant voters and voters of color. Recruited, trained, and mobilized almost 300 volunteers to participate. Established and maintained relationships with community organizations, universities, and county offices.- Conducted a county-wide survey to evaluate a newly implemented statewide voting policy affecting non-citizens and immigrants. Produced a comprehensive report to the California Department of Motor Vehicles and Secretary of State on the findings and provided recommendations to improve the system.- Strategically supported the effort to co-sponsor a state assembly bill that would strengthen California's language access laws. Published an op-ed piece and mobilized community organizations to gather public support. Once the bill was successfully passed, immediately worked to implement the new law by conducting advocacy meetings with county staff and educating community organizations on the change.
