As an experienced environmental engineer turned social justice advocate and community engagement specialist, I'm passionate about creating thriving communities that benefit both people and the natural environment. With a natural talent for finding opportunities in every challenge, I bring a wide range of experiences to the table. My career has afforded me valuable knowledge in Research & Development, Health & Safety, remediation, community-based health research, managing multi-million dollar infrastructure projects and experience in start-ups and nonprofits. Additionally, my community involvement has allowed me to engage with community members, elected officials, and working groups to advance climate action planning and advocate for policy changes. I've found that community and relationship building are key to creating lasting and healing change, which is why I prioritize continual growth in personal and professional development to learn how can we 'human' better together through trainings such as "Just Communities", Somatic Healing for Social Justice, ACE Coaching, and various books, podcasts and TED talks. When I'm not focused on driving social and climate justice, you can find me in nature and spreading positivity and laughter.
