Ludometrics make games, toys and playthings. We don't focus on any particular platform or genre, but we do focus on creating games we enjoy for platforms we enjoying playing on.I am the lead developer at Ludometrics for game projects, although I also contribute to other projects as needed. On game projects I am responsible for all technical aspects both client side and server side, should a game require remote services.Being a small company, I get to jump between many platforms and languages - C#, Lua, C++, ActionScript and JavaScript have all been involved in recent projects. It's as much fun developing the games as playing them.Another side effect of being a very small company is that the overhead of using a full Agile process was somewhat burdensome. Here I gained an unhealthy understanding of ActionScript 2 and the intricacies of smeering it together with randomly constructed timeline graphics and animations.I finished still working on the Flash team, although I was getting my paws dirty in the honey pot that is ActionScript 3. While there, a small R&D prototype I created for interactive chat impressed enough people for it to be taken and developed into a full and core feature of the website. Worked on a white room Flash Player implementation for mobile, capable of running at desktop speeds. The player was intended to be used to power a highly flexible cross device UI framework.

Worked on several J2ME games titles.

Worked on many mobile games across many diverse J2ME powered platforms. Also worked on the well received Palm OS puzzler, Atum (coo! A review. Everying exists on the web: http://www.game-over.net/reviews/hand/Atum.html ), and built yet another build system.

Worked on low level serial communication COM libraries to allow Visual Basic applications to talk to the custom hardware created by Timos for tracking time for machines and humans.I also worked on creating a minimal distribution of linux to run on small embedded PC system, along with software to control various hardware devices which could be attached to it, such as LCD matrix displays and RFID button readers.

Worked on UI components used within games and tools for creating and assembling game content.
