• Provided expertise in welding, fabricating, and installing piping, including threaded, plastic, copper, stainless steel, and carbon steel pipes.Selected projects include:• Marathon Oil Refinery (Detroit Division) – X-ray inspected welding and rigging heavy piping up to 30” in diameter using strong Kevlar slings, 10 Ton+ chain fall’s, and 3 Ton “come-a-longs” • University of Michigan Hospital System and College Campus –Installed threaded pipe, copper pipe, carbon steel, stainless steel piping of various sizes from ½” to 18” piping using various joining methods such as Victaulic, brazing, welding and soldering joints together.• Eastern Michigan University Campus – Cast iron rain leaders/Drain pipe, Copper pipe, and plastic piping from ½” up to 10” in diameter.• Severstal (Ford Motor Company) – Welded and fabricated piping for a water cooling tower where extensive rigging was involved. Installing carbon steel piping up to 24” in diameter.• General Motors Proving Grounds of Milford – x-ray inspected welds on 3” and 4” underground piping where rigging was involved to hoist piping and relocate to its installed position.• Michigan Dairy (Kroger Foods)– Stainless steel food grade piping was installed and welded via the GTAW process on piping up to 4” in diameter for raw and processed milk operations.
