Architect, Interior Architect, Workplace Planner.I have over 20 years experience across the disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design and Workplace solutions throughout New Zealand, the America’s and Asia Pacific. This experience is across a wide range of industry sectors. My international perspective is evident in completed projects and is supported by a working knowledge of local compliance and delivery requirements.In the field of Architecture I have conducted original research into architectural methodologies and materials, engineering and environmental systems, cultural and natural precedents, as well as sector specific investigations of workplace and/or lifestyle environments.I have designed innovative architectural concepts in direct response to unique user, programmatic, environmental and cultural contexts through the integration of leading-edge planning, engineering, interiors, and other required systems. I have defined and developed functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations, and prepared information regarding design, specifications, materials, colour, equipment, estimated costs, and construction timeframes.I prepare and review design documents, construction documents, shop drawings, and materials for compliance with design intent and program requirements.I am able to solve complex problems in connection with the architectural design of projects through the integration of building simulation to optimise building performance.In the Interior Architecture industry I have demonstrated significant expertise in strategic workplace analysis and design, change mgmt, design leadership, and project and construction management.I am responsible for the coordination of the project design and project team and am comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams regionally and globally.I have operated in a team leader role for client engagement and manage internal and external resources and processes to achieve client goals.
