I'm running for Johnson County Supervisor as the Democratic nominee.

While my primary responsibilities are PKI, EMC storage and VMware virtualization, ours is a small shop and so I also help out with everything else in our IT infrastructure. Top-level secondary areas of concern are Unix/Linux and Microsoft Active Director administration.

The mayor is responsible for the day to day management of the City and its employees. As chief executive, the mayor also chairs all meetings, conducts certain business as directed by the City Council and provides guidance back to the Council in management of City affairs, budgeting and law.

During my tenure at CFDS, I was responsible for network security and assisting our small team with virtualization and network issues. After research and standing up a POC, I presented recommendations for a new AV and DLP solution.

As Digital Sales Manager, I am responsible for the sales of our wide variety of digital products, as well as supporting our traditional sellers with analytics and technical expertise so they, too, may sell digital products.As IT Director, I am responsible for the continued operation and stability of a variety of computer and support technologies, including 12+ servers, 20+ workstations, photocopier, printers, network infrastructure and telephony.

As Digital Managing Editor, I was responsible for the content and presentation of three local radio station websites, a community portal, and statewide business-to-business site. I was also responsible for ad placements on an additional statewide site focused on high school sports.

I teach business, computer and communication courses with an emphasis in public speaking, typing and the Microsoft Office software suite.

I perform three separate duties for the Independent Record: reporter, photographer, and webmaster. I invest about half of my time in reporting and split the balance between photography and website work.As a reporter I am responsible for tracking down stories of interest and import to our readers, residents of Hot Springs County, Wyo., developing and writing them in interesting and informative ways, within the ethical bounds of my profession. As the senior reporter I do general interest work and hold both the justice and education beats. In 2008 I was awarded honorable mention in the specialty and feature story divisions of the Wyoming Press Association (WPA) awards.As the go-to photographer it is my responsibility to identify compelling photographic opportunities and capture them in creative, vibrant and expressive ways. I was awarded first place in spot news photography in the 2008 WPA awards.I have also been responsible for spearheading development of our fledgling website, www.thermopir.com. I have developed the website from scratch and continue to educate my coworkers in its use and encourage them to think of novel new ways to use this new medium.

As Editor-in-Chief, responsible for directing editorial and department staff, guiding newspaper to completion each week and setting tone and direction for the publication.As Editor at Large, responsible for providing support and advice to Editor-in-Chief and filling in for any area of the publication where help was needed.As reporter, responsible for discovering news ideas, following up and reporting on them, and cultivating sources.

Responsible for all aspects of newspaper production except advertising and circulation, which were handled by the publisher.Responsibilities included reporting, editing, layout, proofing, photography, interviewing, office management.
