Formalized an in-vivo protocol for waterproof clinical testing of foundation that utilizes both Chromameter and Non-Contact Spectrophotometers to measure and contrast CIELAB color space values of shades pre-wash and post-wash. Conducted official clinical testing on panelists to finalize protocol implementation and interpret results to conclude which instrument better analyzes pigment retention. Pioneered an in-vitro protocol for mascara waterproof testing to evaluate waterproof abilities of both waterproof and non-waterproof mascara using false lashes, ultimately replacing the in-vivo protocol and clinical trials. Analyzed images using MATLAB, Adobe Photoshop, and visual grading.
