I’m working at Ligadata as Big Data Architect/ Hadoop Infrastructure and Systems, and my main responsibilities come at hardware planning, solution design, and driving the implementation and future support to ensure the implemented eco-systems are running smoothly, tuned, with latest technologies and best security model.In details:- Leading Hadoop and infrastructure architecture design.- Lead clusters implementation and give best practices for implementation and configuration.- Running R&D for the new Big Data technologies and driving the needed POCs.- Develop integration between Big Data components- Develop new tools needed for reporting and data governance.- Develop automated performance reports templates for various ECO-Systems clusters statistics- Design, and build Big Data security models and develop security integrations- Driving Linux performance tuning and providing trouble shooting and tuning best practices.- Engaging with OEM, Vendors and clients architecture and design meeting to provide solution recommendations.- Driving Hadoop and others Big Data Eco-System components major and minor upgrades- Develop automated solution for data movements between storage tiers- Develop Disaster Recovery solutions for various Big Data production implementations.- Manage Infrastructure on both Clouds (Azure and AWS) as well as on-prem- Docker and Kubernetes Management and implementation for some of the implemented Big Data Eco-System services.

I’m working at Unifonic as Systems and big-data Engineer with main role of implementing, deploying and administrating Big-Data systems, NoSQL databases, MySQL, Apache, and HADOOP. In details:- deploy, configure and manage big-data systems ( Hadoop-HDFS, SQOOP, Oozie, Hive, Hbase, Zookeeper, solr etc..)- Selecting and integrating any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities (Pig, Hive, Flume, Oozie,Spark, Solr, Sqoop, etc..)- Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes- Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries, etc.).- Work closely with our engineering team to integrate your innovations and algorithms into our production systems.- Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis – and then do the analysis.- Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed.- Implement and administer big data tools on AWS cloud and on physical servers- Implement Solr, HBASE clusters, integrate them and index the data in real time mode. - Import, process, and analysis logs from our production environment using the relative bog data tools.- Implement and administrate Big data servers and DWH RDMS servers.- MYSQL DBA.- deploy and administrate Big-IP (F5) Load balancers.- Deploy data migration and integration from/to MySQL, HBase and hive.- manage, configure and administrate infrastructures and servers running on Amazon cloud.- Linux Administration.- deploy monitoring tools ( newrelic, nagios)- deploy new releases.- administrate APACHE web service, Bind, and other linux services
