 Working in National Telecom Control Center (NTCC) for Operation & Maintenance of Wire Line network – Transmission, SDH and DATA networks from E1 to STM-64, availability and performance, Network troubleshooting with customers & Service Providers. Alarm Monitoring & Reporting (Surveillance), Circuit Provisioning (Configuration) and Fault Management (Trouble Shooting) of SDH, DWDM & OTN Network Elements of power grid optical transmission network (core & access network) by using ZTE (Net Numen), Tejas (TJ5100), Tellabs (6300 Network Manager), Fibcom, Nortel & Fiber Home NMS. Capacity up gradation of links from STM-1 (or STM-4) to STM-4 (or STM-16) & STM-16 to STM-64 & Insert new Network Elements in exists rings. E1, VC4 & EOS Circuit provisioning, performance management, DCC & gateways management Equipment backup and restoration and alarm management of entire transmission network. Giving protection to all nodes, VC4, VC3 and VC12 Layers. Finding root cause analysis of potential & traffic outage related problems & Provide RFO. Re-routing/Re-provisioning of the transmission path in case of prolonged/repeated outages. Developing SAP (Service Action plans) and SIP (Service Improvement Plans) to avoid repetitive faults to ensure service availability. Responsible for restoration of normal service operation as quickly as possible and thereby minimize the adverse impact on business operations, thus ensuring that the best possible levels of service quality and availability are maintained. Coordinating with fiber team for fiber related activities through LASER SOURCE, POWERMETER & OTDR. Co-ordination with vendor for analyzing the equipment/Hardware failures. Fundamental task required in the testing and analysis of network elements consists of ZTE, Tejas, Tellabs, Nortel, Fibcom, Fiber Home & CISCO installed all over the nation. Knowledge of cisco routing protocols including Ethernet, IP Communications, BGP, OSPF & Traffic Engineering IP/MPLS.

 Main responsibility is to Coordinate vendor team for Site I&C and Integration, for NSN 2G & 3G Networks for Vodafone. Supervision of teams for the installation work as per quality parameters. Installation and Commissioning of NSN equipments (ULTRA, FLEXI, FLEXI COMPACT & MR BTS) & Node B (FSMD & FRGP). Testing, measuring VSWR, return loss or cable insertion loss and locating faulty RF components in antenna systems using Bird, Eco-via. Co-ordinating with Wear house, Vendor team, O&M Engineer, Field managers for Deferent aspect of project work like Material delivery, Installation, AT, Billings. New site acceptance from project. MIRCOWAVE installation & Commissioning of 0.3m, 0.6m, 1.2m, 1.8m, 2.4m Antenna & Complete PDH links.  Installed FIU on the live site and commissioned them successfully.  Solving site installation problems while work is going on at site. Follow up for E1. Making the E1s for available for new sites. E1 routing using PDH and SDH equipments like FIU, FIFA, FIQB, FIPA, Flexi Hybrid, NEC & Huawei RTN. Conducting AT and handover site to O&M with their satisfactory work. Responsible for bringing new 2G & 3G sites on air and responsible for pre acceptance tests of new cell site and acceptance test.

 Single point of contact for all matters related to implementation of project and responsible for the overall success of the project.  Co-ordinate all activities needed to bring an equipment/ system to service which includes documentation, meetings, project reports, purchases, negotiation with vendors, field work co-ordination etc. Responsible for ETE activities from feasibility survey process to route survey for setting up fiber networks for Vodafone Enterprise & Carrier Customers. Responsible for ETE activities from feasibility survey process to Link Deliveries for Vodafone Enterprise & Carrier Customers. Stability Test for all the commissioned Rings and configure end devices like Router, E1 converter & Optical Modem. Troubleshooting leased circuits, system faults, handling equipment configuration, testing and provisioning new links.  Purchasing activities, obtain quotes, issue Purchase Requisitions, follow up on deliveries etc. Planning of new Fiber Routes & DWDM Rings for expansion of the existing Vodafone ECB/NLD Network.  Providing Feasibiltiy & CAPEX as per request from Customer (Services involved are IPLC, NPLC, MPLS, PRI, Internet etc.). Traffic Optimization of the existing Network & its Re-routing as per the requirement. Planning multiple paths & protections as per the requirement of Customer. Responsible for End to End Service Delivery which includes Fiber Layout, I&C of Hardware and its assurance. Provide support to the field staff & others departments.

 Implementation and commissioning of SDH Transmission equipment’s of ECI (XDM-50/100/300/500/1000/2000, BG-64, BG-40, BG-30, and BG-20), Alcatel (1660, 1662, 1642) & Tejas (ME-4/16 & TJ-100/1500). Commissioning and AT of DWDM links for Backbone networks, OADM, Dual Terminal and In Line Amplifiers ILA. Installation and commissioning with AT of DXC 1678 Metro cross connect. Fiber testing and Equipment Configurations. Stand-alone testing of DXC, SDH and DWDM equipment’s. Perform stability (48 hour) and MS-SP ring testing. Liaisoning with the field team to provide them Network plans for the Installation, commissioning and testing of Transmission equipment’s. Involved in events of Channel addition, Site shifting, and software up-gradation at the field.  Perform Channel balancing on DWDM links. Responsible for training of teams for Installation, commissioning and integration of sites during project rollout.
