I have been interested in the field of computer science since I was a teenager and have been a learner of systems since then. Seen the era of floppy drives and now living in the GenAI world. Always wanted to be a software developer and cleared the OCJP certification straight out of college. But Got a chance to work but as a network security engineer, later changed roles to infosec analyst by getting certified as an ethical hacker. As I was passionate about building software and solving problems, I had been building side projects along the way and improved my skills.. Moved into the role of Software development as a Senior Software engineer and over years have grown to be a tech lead. Over this journey I acquired skills which I wouldn't have learned if I were a software developer since the start.
