• Worked for Fortune 200 company under NDA. 1D/3D CFD simulation on combustion with full chemical kinetics of proprietary fuel-oxidizer using Fluent (ANSYS) were performed for different complex geometry to analyze, test and optimize the product. • Experiments were conducted for which I used high speed DAQ, LabView and MATLAB/Simulink to validate the performance and improving the overall system and have also developed a cost-effective method for measuring high speed piston motion.

Mid-Tier Defense Against Hypersonic Glide Vehicles During CruiseFirst Place in AIAA Missile Design Competition As a part of the team, I had to design the propulsion system and work closely with team for overall system design.The Mission requirement was to intercept the HGV cruising between Mach 12 to 15 at altitudes ranging from 120 to 140 kft. I was part of a team of four to represent the UTA. I was in-charge of propulsion system design and had calculated theoretical propellant performance of various fuel-oxidizer to design a boost-sustainer type solid rocket motor. Ammonium perchlorate was used as a fuel-oxidizer for boost phase with trumpet star shape grain design aiming to boost to Mach 5.6 and Ammonium dinitramide was used as a fuel-oxidizer for sustainer phase with end burning motor design. MATLAB code was written to simulate grain burning and analysing the thrust profile to make a trade study for sizing the motor to meet the mission requirements.

I had to make animated videos (infographics) for UTA students for better understand the application process. Software used are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, Premier Pro.
