Disaster recovery backup on cloud using REST- To develop an automated tool that ensures that the documents and databases are backed up on another server as well as on the cloud (BackBlaze), also shows status at a glance on the UI.✔ Created two separate client and server spring boot applications with JPA.✔ Divided the problem into chunks, and created a REST api for each of the operations.✔ The project was automated to call an corresponding api that creates a database dump, compresses it and then uploads it to Backblaze. Once the upload is finished, it verifies the SHA1 checksum.✔ The main app upon receiving a successful response automatically sends another request to the server to copy the documents. The server follows the same approach and copy the documents from client to server and upload them to BackBlaze cloud and verifies the cloud and make a database record of successfully uploaded document. ✔ Once the operation is finished successfully, it changes the status to "Backup Completed" on the UI and the statuses are available to see at a glance on the dashboard. ✔ Performed unit tests and wrote user manual.The project was appreciated not only by the staff but also by the clients ensuring them a peace of mind.

Final Year Project: File Sharing application using Cloud Computing Project description: The aim is to create a cloud storage service that allows users to store documents, photos, videos online and share it with others.✔ The project was developed using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services after performing extensive research on available cloud services.✔ Agile Iterative Software development approach was put in effective use.✔ Requirement representation was implemented using unified modelling language (UML).✔ Implemented the design using Android software programming. Java programming language was used to integrate Amazon Cloud with the application.✔ Google API was used to add an extra layer of security for user logins.✔ Performed unit testing for each module with documentation done at each level.✔ Managed the project by keeping a logbook for each milestone achieved.The project was awarded 78% after presenting it to my supervisor and one external assessor.

The features that were most well regarded were the use of full CRUD database, strong UML models, efficient multi-threaded server implementation, and implementation of extra features like filtering

Aim of the project was to develop a website which monitors, and analyses the information produces by cluster and provides a overview of the system at a glance in visual form.✔ By keeping the requirements of the dashboard in mind, several designs were made ✔ Implemented designs using Bootstrap for the layout, JQuery for developing and CSS for styling the webpages and bxSlider for the sliding functionality for dashboard.✔ Integrated existing Ganglia graph with the dashboard which helped to show the information about each GPU in graphical form on hover.✔ Tested the cross browser compatibility, responsive design, and documented it and saved it to SVN.✔ Interacted with project manager about progress of the project on weekly basis.The project was a good success, it was added to the big screen in the department, clients appreciated the work done by me.
