My projects consisted of: • Conducted research on the rapidly developing Los Angles venture capital ecosystem and presented findings and recommendations to the firm. • Responsible for managing inbound dealflow – logged and analyzed over 70 potential investment opportunities. • Developed a database to more efficiently track new and innovative venture capital funds proactively sought out by the firm. • Reconciled general partner accounts to ensure transactions were properly documented. • Analyzed the portfolio funds for inclusion on either the firm’s “watch list” or the firm’s “top performers list.” • Assisted with business development function by preparing pitch books for prospective investors.
