Recruiting Coordinator
I am in charge of the on-boarding process including making and sending offer letters as well as doing all new hire orientations. I update and create content as it is needed as well as supply content to the volunteer team at Pacific Science Center as well. I track and manage all new hire paperwork before it is given to payroll. I work very closely with hiring managers across the organization to help with their hiring needs. I schedule regular check ins as well as create tools for hiring managers so they are thoroughly involved in the process. I schedule phone screens and interviews with potential candidates. I have successfully on-boarded between 200 and 250 employees since starting in March of 2017. Other tasks and projects I manage: performance management across the organization. This means handling sensitive documents as well as having tough conversations with managers about their reports. I am also spear heading a mentoring program staring in the fall. I am in charge of guiding employees as they leave the organization for a smooth transition. This includes collecting their staff badges and name tags as well as conducting exit interviews.
