I am so fortunate and proud to be working at Sprout Social.In this position, I oversee the full candidate life cycle for Sprout's Technical Recruiting Efforts. I handle inbound and outbound candidate flow for our engineering organization, working with the hiring managers to best understand their priorities. I also handle Sprout Social's college recruiting process, and get the chance to attend different university career fairs to find the best and brightest coming out of school.

Working in Technical Recruiting at Groupon allowed me to touch multiple parts of the business - the HR side, the Engineering side, and of course the candidate facing side. I had the good fortune of working with brilliant engineers every day. The quality of candidates we brought in the door was outstanding, and the recruiting team maintained a high bar for the caliber of candidate.In this role, I oversaw the coordination efforts for the technical recruiting team in Chicago. This entailed scheduling technical phone screens as well as facilitating onsite interviews. I was essentially the liaison between the candidate and the business, from the technical phone interview to in-person interview to offer to their first day on the job. Using the applicant tracking system, and a series of comprehensive google docs, I tracked candidate progress and reported it to the organization.

In December 2010, I started at Groupon, the fastest company to hit 10,000 employees. As a member of the Resolutions Team, I assisted customers facing scheduling and unresponsive issues. I worked with merchants directly to address these issues. I mentored newly hired employees through phone and email shadowing, and well as handled and address refunds of an higher price point on a selective committee.

It was my greatest pleasure to work with my alma mater upon graduating. In Alumni Programs, I planned and executed Reunion events for Alumni Weekend and Homecoming, conducted Reunion Committee meetings and conference calls with 3 different committees. In this role, I also designed and submitted marketing material to advertise the events to over 20,000 University of Miami Alumni.

I worked for the Orange Bowl during a special time - double hosting! What does this mean? The Orange Bowl was the host for both the 75th Orange Bowl Game, as well as The BCS National Championship game. In this role, I assisted in coordination for special events, conceptualized and implemented special guest gift program, maintained constant communication with key organizational stakeholders and managed guest accommodations.
