In May 2022, I graduated in the top one-third of my class from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. While in law school, I was part of many organizations, including a writer for the UMKC Law Review. The legal comment I wrote analyzes how comedic television depictions of workplace sexual harassment desensitize jurors to the relevant legal claims. It was one of a few chosen for publication by the UMKC Law Review.After taking the bar exam in the summer of 2022, I accepted a one-year fellowship with the Kansas Legislative Research Department as a Legislative Analyst where I will advise Kansas legislators on fiscal & policy matters. Throughout the fellowship at the Capitol, I’ll be doing everything from sitting in on congressional hearings and answering questions during committee meetings, to researching potential legislation and drafting bills that could be signed into laws. While in law school, I worked at firms that specialized in personal injury, employment discrimination, and class action lawsuits. Prior to law school, I worked at a business & estate planning law firm in Manhattan, KS. In Manhattan, I graduated cum laude from Kansas State University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and obtained minors in Spanish and Conflict Analysis & Trauma Studies. I was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Society in the spring of 2018.
