My experience spans over seven years working as an engineer and research scientist on defense and atmospheric research applications.

Worked with NASA’s Particulate and Gaseous Emissions Measurement System (PAGEMS) team to provide technical and scientific input for in-house reports correlating particulate aircraft engine emissions with engine conditions.

I took part in summer internships at NCAR and performed the following:Collected atmospheric aerosol aboard a military C-130 aircraft with a three-stage particle concentrator.Analyzed the aerosol samples for organic composition using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR).Designed instrumentation to control the relative humidity of an air stream.Collaborated with scientists from Mexico City to build and use a Radial Differential Mobility Analyzer (RDMA) to research the transport of emissions out of a large urban area.Assisted on the design and testing of the Wet Impactor, a technique to continuously collect size segregated ambient aerosol.
