- Leading the zero tolerance culture change initiative. - Assigned to the National PREA Resource Center (PRC) is funded through a cooperative agreement between the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and Impact Justice.- The PRC’s training and technical assistance initiatives provide crucial guidance to state, local, and tribal agencies as they work to achieve sexual safety and implement the PREA Standards in their facilities, including adult prisons and jails, juvenile facilities, community confinement facilities, lockups, and tribal facilities. Smith of Smith Consulting, Bernadette Brown of B. Brown Consulting, and Elizabeth Layman of Price Layman, Inc.

-Deliver training and technical assistance, to local, state, federal, and tribal adult and juvenile confinement facilities working on implementation of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards and sexual safety operations.-Design, lead, and facilitate various types of virtual and in-person events, (e.g., webinars, trainings, coaching sessions related to interpretation and implementation of the PREA standards to promote compliance and best practice sexual safety practices and policies. -Evaluate diverse organization systems to identify policy and practice workflow, communications, and resource utilization related to sexual safety operations.-Create detailed roadmap of action items, project goals, timelines, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and budgeting.
